In late 2008 I had the chance to take a stab at the Calgary Transit 100th Anniversary logo. I felt it was essential to come up with something that would stand out; something progressive and celebratory. Unfortunately, after much back and forth, they decided to go another ‘route’ (pardon the pun). The final selection was very basic, quite pragmatic. Perhaps the two concepts I developed were a bit too flashy, but still, I feel they’re definitely worth sharing.
I was, however, able to integrate some of the underlying themes in the 2009 Transit Passes that year, check’em out below:
